Privacy
No account needed. No crash reporting. Anonymous stats you can switch off.
You can play the whole game offline, with no account. Your advertising ID goes to Google AdMob to serve and measure the ads that keep this free, along with your IP address (for approximate location), how you interact with the app and its ads, and the ads software’s own diagnostics. If you choose to create an account, your email, user ID and progress are stored so it can be restored on another phone, along with your name if you sign in with Google. The game also sends small anonymous counts of how it is played — never your words or your account — which you can turn off in Settings. If you tap Suggest this word, that one word is sent to us with the part of the game you were in and a random number. If you turn on Friends, your daily results are shared with the friends you accept. Nothing else leaves your device.

Where the dictionary comes from
Accepted words come from ENABLE, a public-domain English word list, ranked by Peter Norvig's public-domain word-frequency data so common words surface before obscure ones.
Level descriptions are derived from WordNet 3.1, Princeton University.
