Word list changes

The game checks every word you type against a fixed word list. No list is perfect, so when it turns down a real word you can tap Suggest this word and we will look at it. This page is where we publish what changes as a result.

How suggestions work

  • Only three things are sent: the word, the part of the game you were in (for example “daily” or a level number), and a random install number that is not tied to you or your account. There is no free text. You can send up to ten a day, and the privacy policy has the details.
  • We read the suggestions by hand. A word is added only if it is a real word that fits the game; we do not add names, offensive words or anything that would make a puzzle unfair.
  • Changes reach the game with an update. This page lists them as soon as we decide, so you can see what is coming.
